How Text to Brand handles personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation.
Our GDPR promise
Text to Brand is fully GDPR compliant. We only process data necessary for our service, retain nothing longer than needed, and always give you full control over your own data. Your data is never sold to third parties.
Your rights under GDPR
Right of access
You have the right to know which personal data we process about you and why. You can request a full overview via texttobrand@supportassistance.com.
Right to correction
Is your data incorrect or incomplete? You can ask us to correct it. Many details can be changed directly via your account settings.
Right to deletion
You can ask us to delete your personal data. We will do so as quickly as possible, unless we are legally required to retain the data longer.
Right to restriction
You can ask us to temporarily restrict the processing of your data, for example when you dispute the accuracy of the data.
Right to data portability
You have the right to receive your data in a readable format so you can transfer it to another service provider.
Right to object
You can object to the processing of your data based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing.
Right to withdraw consent
Have you given consent for certain processing? You can always withdraw that consent. This does not have retroactive effect.
Submit a request
Send an email to texttobrand@supportassistance.com with your name, email address and a clear description of your request. We respond within 30 days. For complex requests this period can be extended to 90 days. We will inform you about this.
Our processors
We work with the following categories of processors. With each processor we have concluded a processing agreement in accordance with Article 28 GDPR.
All processors are located in the EU or have appropriate safeguards for data transfer outside the EU (Standard Contractual Clauses).
Retention periods
- Account data: Duration of the account + 12 months after cancellation
- Brand content and files: Deleted within 30 days after account deletion
- Billing data: 7 years (legal tax retention requirement)
- Support correspondence: Maximum 90 days
- Analytical data: Maximum 26 months (anonymized)
Supervisory authority
If you have a complaint about how we process your data and we cannot resolve it with us, you have the right to file a complaint with the data-protection authority in your country. In Algeria, this is the Autorité de protection des données personnelles (APDP). If you are in the EU, contact the supervisory authority in your member state.
